Delete Your Account

The fastest way: in the app

Open Marsa (iOS, Android or web) and go to Settings → Delete account. You'll see exactly what will be removed before you confirm. For an employee account the deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone.

Marsa is a business platform: accounts aren't self-registered, they're created when a company invites an employee. That's why what "delete my account" means depends on who you are.

If you are an employee (admin, staff or viewer)

Deleted immediately and permanently:

• Your sign-in credentials — email address and password.
• Your name and email on the employee profile, replaced with an anonymous placeholder.
• Your devices' push-notification registrations.
• Your ability to sign in. There is no recovery.

Retained, because it belongs to your employer and not to you:

• Customs operations, declarations, shipments and quotes recorded by the company.
• Financial transactions, receipts, invoices and treasury movements.
• Documents uploaded against operations.
• The audit trail of who did what and when — with your name removed from it.

Egyptian tax and customs law requires the account-holding company to keep its commercial books, invoices and customs declarations for a statutory retention period. Deleting an employee's login does not, and cannot, delete the company's records.

If you are the company account owner

Your login is the company's. Removing it means closing the whole workspace, so it starts as a request with a 14-day grace period you can withdraw at any point from the same screen. The app shows you what the closure would take with it first — open operations, outstanding client balances, and how many colleagues would lose access.

When the grace period ends, the workspace and every login under it are removed. Records that Egyptian tax and customs law obliges us to retain are held for the statutory period, are not used for anything else, and are then purged.

Use the form below, or email support@silk-labs.net. We verify every request against the account's registered address before deleting anything.
